Matteo Botteghi was born in Bologna on 13th March 1985. Fascinated by the show and entertainment business, he attended a theatre school for 8 years until he was 16 when he took up studying music, which has always been his passion. In the same year he started performing as a disc-jockey in several discos of his town and in quite a short time he reached a professional level that allowed him to play in the most prestigious clubs in the area as a resident deejay: Capannina, Kinki, Baia delle stelle, Chalet delle rose, Kasamatta, Scuderie (Modena), Vie en rose (Imola), Ruvido and Single.

Matte owes most of his popularity to Ruvido and Single as they gave him the chance to play in very exclusive nights in Bologna and on the Adriatic coast cooperating with Paparazzi Beach in Milano Marittima and as a guest dj at Caino Fashion Club (Milano Marittima), Rock Island (Rimini) and Paradise Beach (Riccione).

He later had the opportunity to work with important radios, in particular Play Studio Dance Network, where he realized a weekly programme called “PIT STOP” presenting the most popular hits played in the best clubs.

In the present season his resident dj position has been confirmed in Ruvido and Kasamatta and he also works as a guest dj at Caffè Atlantico in the city centre of Bologna.
